Let there be Beta!

Here comes a playable beta version! It has all the basic features implemented, and more will be added on a steady pace. Many of the features will be polished as the development goes on. I aim to maintain save-file compatibility all the way to the final stable release, but the modding system is likely to see some structural changes during the beta phase. But, yes - we already have a modding system based on xml-files.
Installation instructions:
At the moment the game requires Java 8 to run. (It will likely run on newer Java versions, too. But it surely won't run without Java installed on your machine).
Unzip the archive, and run a launcher script appropriate for your OS. In some cases it might require running the script from the command line.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to come up with a more user-friendly distribution versions in the coming weeks!

What!? A new game from Sami and Erkka!? *throws money at screen*
I'd wish you the best of lucks, but you both already shown that only love for what you do and hard work do the trick :)
Thanks! Hehe, yes - luck plays a minor role, but in addition to love and hard work I'd also like to mention the players, the community, the feedback =)
